Medical field is facing a drastic change. The concept of general practioner or family doctor is changing to specialists and superspecialists. Even the public is interested to consult a nuerologist or a neurosurgeon for a simple headache. Parellel to this the competition for post graduate admission is increasing. New MBBS students are graduating out every year and the government/IMC though giving permission for new Undergraduate colleges is not keen on proportionately increasing the post graduate seats.
Most of the centers has weekly class of 10-12 hours. We know that the concentration level drops after a maximum 3-4 hours. It is difficult to maintain the same level of concentration for the entire day. We here have planned only 2 hour class daily so that the candidate can have maximum attention . The entire MBBS curriculum is divided into 140-160 subtopics and each topic dealt on each day. So a candidate can prepare for the topic and also revise the previous day’s topic. Daily 50 question (30minute) exam will check how much they have revised and 150 exams in a year will provide to develop strategies to write exam. Week ends are kept holidays so that weekly and monthly revision can be done. Those who are preparing exclusively for PG Entrance are advised to join daily class.
Due to the popular demand from the Working Junior Doctors and House surgeons outside Thrissur who are unable to attend daily classes, this year we offer them holiday classes. Classes will be on Sundays and public holidays from 8.00 AM to 5.00 PM. Both batches will cover the entire MBBS curriculum along with the frequent revision exams.
